Even the best vacations end like this. A kind of clarity, a gratitude, an appreciation for where you truly live. When you find your center, that’s when you’re truly home.
PS: This has been one fantastic summer! I had plans to draw so much more but instead I worked myself to exhaustion prepping myself to get a job. I updated my resume, my portfolio, I went to job fairs. I grieved after horrible interviews. Until finally, it happened. I was hired full time as an art teacher! I sit here now after having been devastated by stress and fear feeling a bit like Ted in this strip. Thanks to anyone for following and I appreciate your patience with my erratic output. I finally found the head space to finish the vacation series! Hope my new routine will allow a more consistent output but who knows? I’ll do what I can, here goes nothin’!
